xerox c118 error u4-1000

Hi guys,

I've got the XEROX C118 copier and it shows U4-1000 error.

Anyone knows what could it be? The service manual says: 'Fuser failure (did not come up to temperature in time). Must be reset from diagnostics (NVM code 50-20 must be reset to 0)'

Does it mean that if I get this error code I have to clear it or it will continue to show up? What causes it?

Any suggestions where to begin checking?
