The colorqube originally going to be called jupiter is a very new device only a few customers are trialing them here in the UK , they look good and Xerox has great confidence that this will be a big seller check out www.xerox.com. i cannot say how it performs as it is too new but it looks impressive.

While I can't vouch for the colorqube, I can tell you that the Xerox Phasers that used the wax sticks were junk. Printing and permanency were horrible. Also, I don't know how any body else calculates their cost per print or what these new devices will cost but there really wasn't any savings on the wax based phasers from what I could tell. Also, since the wax sticks are a proprietary design to fit into the machines, good luck on getting legal generics.

But as I always advise, take some real life print/copy jobs to one of the machines and don't be afraid to really test it. Make a few thousand copies/prints to really get a feel for it.

Describe your business. Do you archive documents? Do you ship documents long distances? There are a lot of businesses where the ColorQube is a perfect fit and many where it isn't.

I went to Xerox training on a different machine and the colorqube was there. I asked the other techs there about it and everything they said about it was really good. One big thing they said was they dont get allot of service calls on them.
