Is this for a DocuColor 250? I didn't think it had a centreware web interface as it uses a Fiery. Sadly I don't look after these machines.

Anyway, do you want to change the admin login credentials or are you locked out from logging in? If your locked out try rebooting the machine, that's pretty obvious though, I'm sure you've done that.

The CentreWare web interface login for the DocuColor 250 could be:

    User ID: 11111
    Password: x-admin

From the control panel tools mode it usually just asks for the User ID which is '11111'

If the default password has been changed, then you might have to log into the CE tools mode and reset it that way, I'm not sure how you access the CE tools mode on the DC250's.

Two options exist to resolve this issue:
      • Print the psswrd.ps file, attached to this article, through the Fiery bustled DFE or EXP250 DFE. The printed page will have the Administrator password on it.

      • Reload the Fiery bustled DFE system software or reload / restore the EXP250 DFE software. This process will restore the Administrator password to the default password (Fiery.1) or no password at all, depending on the DFE.

      Print the psswrd.ps file:
NOTE: This procedure will not print out the password for the Windows XP login account on a FACI enabled EXP250. This procedure will only print the password associated with theAdministrator account that is used when connecting to a Fiery bustled DFE or EXP250 DFE through CWS or used when attempting to enter Setup mode through Web Tools on either DFE or the LCD Control panel on an EXP250 DFE.
NOTE: It is recommended that the psswrd.ps file be printed to theDIRECTqueue on the DFE. If the DIRECT queue is not accessible then the file can be printed to the PRINT queue, however, the file must then be deleted from the queue to ensure that no one else reprints the file.
