    Duplex printing

i have a 3535 and am trying to print duplex on SRA3 via the bypass tray. I print the document on the one side and then manually turn the page over and print the same document on the other side but it is not aligned properly. Its almost as if its printing for a book where the image is printed more to the left? I have tried enableing "Align tray" but doesnt make a difference. How do i acheive this?

A workaround could be to make sure the paper goes through the printer with the same leading edge for both sides, you would then have to rotate one side 180 degrees. That way the print may not be centered on the SRA3 but it's more likely to be registering front/back.

What is a PWS? If i rotate it the the artwork wont will appear upside down on the otherside? What is causing this to happen?

Because you are rotating the paper 180 degrees to ensure that the leading edge is the same for both prints you have to rotate the artwork the same to ensure that it is not upside down on the other side.
A PWS is the computer that a technician uses to connect to your printer/copier, I'm sure DavidJ can explain why you may need to use one in your situation.

with pws you can adjust the margins by changing the NVM settings . since you dont have pws i suggest you call a tech and ask him to fix the tray nvm settings

So i would flip the page and put the bottom part on top and also flip the artwork with the bottom on top?

Yes, as a workaround til you get the issue sorted properly. The idea is that you have the same leading edge go through the printer when doing the front as well as the back.

There's another workaround, since you are printing on SRA3 I'm assuming you have plenty of space on the sheet for your book cover. So, if the front to back misregistration is the same, you can simply move the artwork on one side accordingly, I do that all the time.
