RE: X12 Fiery with Xerox DC12, DC1250 hangs at configuring hardware.
This is a visitor message I received and I thought it would be good to open it up to the whole forum.
Hi Krish,
"Quote from Krish to Peter".
hello sir i m using x12 fiery with dc12 when i start my x12 fiery it hang or halt at configuring hardware but by next day what isee that there is no display on front side of fiery i checked with other RAM too pls help me to resolve this issue.
Peter to Krish,
There are always many possibilities when you get these types of problems.
Do you have a service manual for this fiery?
Try these guys, I see them everywhere on here they might have the Fiery manuals.
Manuals 4 You - Copier-Printer-Fax Manuals etc
The Internet's largest collection of manuals
The simplest first step is to reseat "ALL" the boards and connections a few times inside the fiery to make sure the connections are good.
In other information I have it says this:
It could be a faulty mother board or a bad connection between the Bios Chip to the mother board via the spacer/socket.
In which case you could remove the spacer from U8 and install the Bios chip directly into the socket.
Try this and tell me how you go.
