    Xerox Document Centre C320 - 116-321 error

    Hi,

May I know what this error code means 116-321 on a Xerox Document Centre C320? I don't have any technical manual for it only user manual. Any idea how do I resolve this error?

    Cheers

Unplug the network cable to it. See if it comes up then.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

hi, I unplug the network cable and still the same problem. I tried putting a brand new hard drive and did the hard drive initialization (4+stop+power saver) but with no luck still the same. Any other more suggestion? Cheers.

hi the problem is definitely the hard drive. when I unplugged it everything works alright except for the email . I think it is the only program that uses the hard drive. I got a non xerox hard drive but when I put it in I got an error code 116-330. I guess it means the hard drive is not formated or initialize. I did the (4+stop+power saver) while turning on the machine but in no success. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Cheers.

                Just a little bit info.
Me use disk utilities software to copy working disk to image, then transfer this image to new disk.
New disk will need to set HPA if its memory space larger then working one.

Hi, thanks for that. Just wondering if you still got a copy of your disk image, is it possible to get a copy of it.

Ok!, allow some times for me to prepare. Its a 10G image, 900MB after compress, ..contain many shit...
But this is the only one i have. If someone have a smaller size image, pls share with me.
Meantime, prepare following tools: 40 pins to 44 pins IDE converter for desktop. Donn't use USB to IDE converter.
                    Software: WinHex15.

                        Correct.
You only need to know which is hard disk 0 and which is hard disk 1...

I'm a technician too. But most of the time I'm servicing a retail scale. Sometime also office equipment like scanners and printers. Sad to say no actual training as there is wide range of product that we support. It's like Jack of all trade.
