    WC 5665 Tab Stock Printing

We're having a heck of a time in our office trying to print onto a 8.5x11 tab stock in a Xerox WC 5665.

We're following the instructions from Xerox step by step with no luck.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I guess to be a little more specific, one of our support reps is working on this and I'm trying to help her.

We've tried following the steps on Xerox's site step by step, using their template. We've tried placing the tabs in the bypass and trays 1 and 2, of course setting it to tab stock (8 1/2 x 11 type, though I cannot remember the exact dimensions for letter sized tabs) each time.

When the tabs print, they simply do not print on the tabs. We'll get the print at the bottom, to the left of the tab (like it just printed on regular paper), we just can't seem to get it.

has anyone done this and could give us step by step instructions?

I'm not that familiar with this MFD, but I do know that printing tabs is a nightmare. It appears that for some reason the print job is ignoring the margin shift. What driver are you using PostScript or PCL? PostScript can have issues with ignoring certain paper sizes from MS word. If your using MS word maybe try printing from a PDF file if possible to rule out MS word or whatever program your using. Something is preventing that margin shift from happening.
You can also try loading the tab sheets in Landscape (SEF) or Portrait (LEF) into the manual feed tray, maybe it needs to be loaded SEF and not LEF.

Good luck, hopefully someone can provided some more help. I take it you can copy onto tabs?
