    Xerox DC 430 feeder fault

    Hi i was wondering if there is anyone that has come across this error" DOCUMENT FEEDER FAULT ERROR
    " if so please let me know what the solution was or what part to replace.

      thanks i dont have a manual for it cant find anywhere online any ideas how to go about it?

        press access button/#/1/1/ then enter) select (dc routines)select (dc320) then scroll to( 5/99 ) and start the routine.Bye!

            Hi i did the Test and its saying no Document Feeder

              Hmm ! check IIT cable at the rear of dadf sometimes get damaged, the thick cabling. Also clean pick up sensor. Lift up document input tray look to the left you will see two 5.5mm screws, undo these. and remove pull out that assembly. You will see a black felt pad, clean it above that is the pick up sensor/clean or replace.Also try and initialise the IIT PWB. Again acess diagnostic as mentioned before, if i remember right its in dc 131 nvm initialisation ,you want IIT/IPS.Give that a try.

                I think that the friend above is right but if you still can not solve the problem...

                Try this press- key button-#-1-1,then confirm. this will deactivate the adf.after go to the faults and tell me what code is displayed
