Document Center C400 Email Function

Hi,

I would like to know how to set this up, do I need a mail server internally or can I use my ISP?
It scans the document for email and comes with a error code.

yes,you need email server and at email server create one user for xerox machine eg:fxscan

at internet explorer
1)enter machine ip address
2)port status,email option must be enabled
3)enter pop3 and smtp ip address at protocol setting-email
4)settings on the email server
5)email server domain name eg: yourcompany.com.my
6)enter pop3 and smtp address of the email server
7)create email id /users on the email server
8)add email user account eg: yourcompany1.com.my,yourcompany2.com.my
