Xerox wcp 2128/2636/3545 communication problem encountered

Can someone tell me how to fix this error? One day the machine was fine and without any reason when i turn the machine on the dots go across the screen and the message appears.

I appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks a lot!

check battery on CCM PWB, if voltage is lower then 2.5V replace battery.
Then connect xerox PWS with WCPS diagnostic navigator and perform procedure as adeyemi described here

replace battery on CCM PWB - done!

thanks for the tip xcopytech but unfortunately i replace the battery on CCM PWB and the same message appeared.

When i turn the power on, a orange led lights up in the Motherboard. It's normal? I attach 2 photos to explain what led i'm talking about...

If anyone have any suggestion i'll appreciate...

I think your CCM NVM chip might have become corrupted....what i suggest you do is to test this on a different machine to confirm before replacement. It is that NVM chip on the CCM pwb right inside the controller. It is easily identified by its distinct yellow backup battery. If it is this, performing RESTORE of NVM data SAVED from a working machine may correct problem on the NVM chip.

Xerox did have a bad batch of those CCM boards. I can't remember the production date but there is a searchlite hit about the problem.
