    phaser 7400

    Hi there got a tech whos go into diagnostics and says it is now asking for a password? any ideas ?

      Interesting, I never knew the 7400 to have a password lock out before and I have had mine for 4 years now?

      If the guy is a tech, and he works on the 7400 a bit, he should know the default password I would think?

              Basically same machine my friend. The xerox Phaser 7400 is 100% manufactured by Okidata You may be correct though - xerox may have different password. Xerox had oki change certain design items ie: display , toner ctg chips image unit tabs etc.. By the way - where's the Canon stuff on your site? Send me a PM if you like...I need to purchase some stuff-thanks
