    PRO 215 L6 error

Hey guys I am new to the xerox side of this site but I have a little 215 with an L6 error which I did some digging and found it is a polygon mirror speed issue.

    My question is:

Am I wasting my time breaking it down just to clean things up and shoot some air in there in hopes that will work?

Hoping someone has had this before or if it just needs a new laser. Thanks a bunch in advance for any help and/or advice.

I believe these (215) was a sharp oem. As with the xd 100 series the laser did get dirty inside and cause cq problems. never had an L6 code.

If you have a 15p/m Al- or AR- speed sharp you can swap the polygon motor.
