Xerox DC250 STS Visits for Curl/jamming

Hi. Just looking at a Xerox DC250. I have a copy of the service Log Book. Two entrys refer to STS Visits. It continues to say that the machine has a serious curl problem and was escalated to STS Visits in 2006. What is a STS Visit ans can I assume this is specialist engineer for Xerox. The engineer number is STS 4298. Can anyone advise me what the log book is implying. Was there a problem with curl/jamming of the older 2006/7 DC250.

    Hope someone can help.

    Thanks in advance.
    Joe

STS means Second Tier Support. When the average tech can't fix a problem, they put in a request for an "advanced technician" to come out.

      Thank you Milo.
Is the STS technician part of the Xerox company or is the STS technician contracted from outside the company?
As the machine has no other record of being serviced after the last entry by the STS engineer can I assume that either the machine was running OK or that they were unable to resolve the problem. Do you know of any issues of curl and jamming with the earlier machines. I know they had colour variation issues but that is exceptable for the prospective use for the machine.

      Thanks Joe
