The registration rolls are not able to move the 300gsm paper from the In to the Out Sensor. Also more jams with 300gsm "coated papers"

I think you need to clean or replace registration pinch roll pn: 059K13491

        Those are tips from eureka
        FC 08-160
Intermitted jam in area 4. Direct at the Regi In Sensor
        Cause:

The registration rolls are not able to move the 300gsm paper from the In to the Out Sensor.
Also more jams with 300gsm "coated papers"

Clean the Aligner Baffle and the Aligner Side Guide.
Clean the Regi Pinchroll and Bearings - or if necessary replace the PinchRoll Assy

        Error code 8-160
        Problem:

Intermitent paper Jams in area 3B or jams right at the entry of the registration/pinch roll nip. This may only be evident on heavier weight paper (170 gsm or higher).
        Cause:

        Registration Roller Bearing Jam.

        08-160
Intermitent paper Jams in area 3B or jams right at the entry of the registration/pinch roll nip. This may only be evident on heavier weight paper (151gsm or higher).
        Cause:

Flaky or faulty lift motor, P/N 127K27832 (PL 2.2 item #1). Motor would stall momentarily during run which causes loss of drive to the paper due to lack of pressure on the nip between the pinch and registration rolls. Motor may check out OK during diagnostics.

        Replace lift motor, P/N 127K27832 (PL 2.2 item #1).

        8-160

8-160 Paper jams in Area 3b from any tray with any weight stock.
The sheet is just entering the Aligner Transport.
        Cause:

The Side Shift Sensor was always actuated.
The 8-160 RAP does not include a check for this sensor

Check the Side Shift Sensor (PL2.2, item 9) in DC330 [08-182]
This Sensor is located on the front side of the transport and is difficult to see.
Torn paper or paper dust can block the sensor.
If the sensor is clean and it still doesn't change state in DC330 use BSD 8.7 to identify the problem.
Clean the Shaft and Attach Bearing or Replace the registration roll assy. PL 2.7 Item no 9 Part no.059K21930

        Good luck.

Weird thing but it may happen!
Yesterday I had exactly the same call like yours, fault code 8-160, paper jam with 300gsm coated and very stiff media.
It turned out that the bushing of Registration Roll Assembly were so build up with toner and dirt that the reg roll could not move the paper. I cleaned both reg roll bushings and pinch roll bushing and now machine runs pefect with same stiff media.
If this does not helps appart from pinch roll, check reg roll it should have some yellow coating on it.
