Hi, does anyone have experience using any of the various remanufacturing/rejuvenating fluids for drums that promise new drum life when applied? Does it work or is it a hoax? If the former, any particular brands that are recommended?

Drums are pretty small part of your total CPC, much less then labor most of the time. You can trade a parts cost savings for a labor loss and you come up even at best. Replace the drum when needed with an OEM drum (or a worthy equivalent) and you will have less problems in life. -
This is very probably true in Europe and the US but in my neck of the woods the cost of an OEM drum can easily be a months salary for a trained worker. So it's definitely worth exploring this avenue, the question is do these fluids work?Comment

drum are polymer coated and The longevity depends primary from its quality. i suppose you talk about a liquid polymer that wrap on the old one. with some compromise for quality and life expectancy it is possible to work. photoreceptor has his life cycle also. you cant used it eternally ( cleaning blade corotron etc), wast toner , strikes and deletions will increase. it is up to decide to try. you just need to calculate if it worth.Comment
