hey i need to now if anyone has come across this problem i have a xerox docucolor 12 that keeps asking me to insert your access card i dont work on xerox often and i dont now how to fix this problem any help at all greatly app.

On the DC12, my understanding is that a multi-level password protection is set and programmed on the foreign interface/ external auditron. So if you just want to get rid of the message, just turn off the external auditron, go to CE mode and set nvm 752-002=0 and 759-015=0 to disable the foreign interface. If you can't get into CE mode thru the UI, use the PWS. After nvm change, restart the DC12 and the message goes away

I had a doc 12 it had security password protection which was multi level for various users. Unless you have access to those passwords you may be locked out, call your repair / maintenance person or tech support....RAIComment
