    Xerox 240 Docu Colour Malfunction

I've had this issue before... where my machine loses full connectivity to the computers through the Fiery, I cant print from computers or scan to computers... it won't even let me get to the scanning screen.

I've been told how to reset, but that was months ago, and I forget. I was told to hold 2 buttons on the screen... anyone know anything about this?

Any help asap would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Sarah

You should hold the listed buttons while powering on the machine.
Hold them until the Interrupt LED flashes or the second segment of the status bar is filled.. The Interrupt LED will continue to flash until this procedure completes.

You told us that you did it before. There are other boot modes but you have to hold 3 buttons. You asked for 2 buttons, and
Power Save + Start are only that I know.

I have done it before, with the help of a tech, I just don't remember how lol.... that doesn't seem to be working... the Fiery in the back is giving FF on the LED screen... isn't it suppose to read 00?

Are the dip switches below the display in down position? If these are in up position, power off machine, put switches in down position and reboot machine.
