[Error Code] Xerox WC123 Fault Code 16.210

We have aquired a Xerox workcentre M123 and also a Xerox workcentre C123. They both exhibit a fault code 16.210 at switch on. We have the service manual but the fault procedure is not much help. Anybody seen this ?

Connect to the machine thru CentreWare Internet Services, "DNS Settings" page, and untick "DNS Dynamic Update" feature. Save change and reboot copier.

you have to check if the machines have appropriate upgrade. both configurations you have listed dont have HDD. it is easy to check. open back panel with small coin HDD Assy is in bottom side.
if you dont have any go in service mode :

          3. Select System Settings on the next screen.
          4. Select Common Settings on the next screen.
          5. Select Maintenance/Diagnostics on the next screen.
          6. Select Sub System on the next screen.
          7. Select Software Options on the next screen.
          8. Select Keyboard on the next screen.
          9. Type in ClearAllFlag exactly as written
it will clear ALL OPTIONS Installed previously. be sure you have necessary codes.
no scan options available on this machine without HDD.

What are you feloow techs doing about 10-327 - failure to warm up in time. Generic heat rolls seem to be the cause, or worn thermistors, or something else, or a combination of everything, including the relay in the power supply. Kinda driving us nuts. Seems crazy to spend 350 bucks on a fuser that has a weak heat roll -- Anyone have access to new OEM rolls?

Hi Scarecrow. My guys are starting to see this problem and as yet haven't found a resolution. We have not put a lot of effort into a solution yet because we were not aware that it is a big problem however your message is making me think again. It would be interesting to know what you have tried so far. We have on occassions had 123/8 heat rollers recoated and do not seem to have a problem with those rollers. On the couple of occassions that my guys have seen the fault they have reset the fault in NVM and fitted a reclaimed fuser and this seems to work. Would this be the case if there were problems elswhere, as you suggest, in power supplies etc. The whole fuser for this product is currently a bit of a liabillity. We want to refurbish them and whilst we can recoat heat rollers we have not sourced the other bits- ie - bearings, stripper fingers etc. Can anybody help here.
ScarecrowmMight I suggest that you start a new forum strain with a title incorperating 10-327 - we might get a little more reaction to this particular problem.

i supply a few wc pro 128..but that machine fax card has taken out (by our distributor)..so all machine appear sign 016-214 (One of the FAX/ADDRESSBOOK_EXTEND functions cannot be executed due to a
FAX_CARD error or FAX_CARD not installed.)..so i just try to use ClearAllFlag method.. so now 016-214 code already gone..but unfortunately we find a new problem such as our machine now show on screen WC M123 not WC Pro anymore during boot.. then by pressing function..there is no more fax and scanner menu..so anybody can help me how to call back this function? Or i should reinstall its software and upgrade back to WC pro? How if i need to upgrade fax card because i not sure this WC M still support fax card?
