    xerox phaser 7400 engine communication failure

    engine communication failure,
    damaged connector (additional trays).
    checked image processor boards (ip controller diagnostics, pass.)
    replaced the engine control board.
    still same problem.

    any ideas...

      update.

      replace the motor control board. no luck
      cage fan comes on, main motor rotates and still get the error......help

              Your Phaser 7400 is the same machine as OKI C9800 / ES-3640. Your problem most likely is an HDD as OKI machine show the same with bad HardDrive.
