xerox 7232 intermitent white band

I am a kyocera technician but i have a customer that has a xerox 7232 workcenter, that has an intermittent (sp) white band problem, only occurs when they print its about 2 inches wide, any help would be appreciated.

Replace BTR Retract clutch, PN: 121K40670 BTR retract clutch 7232 ONLY !!!! Located on drum drive assembly.

I think it should be replaced drum unit!

I have this problem on 2 machines 7132 and 7232 and it was the clutch... the problem is intermittent so i dont think it is the drum... but it is easier change the drum and test it

I have a 7132 with a white band. See attached pic. The prob appears to be the same as the original post on this thread. Is this caused by the clutch mentioned earlier? This prob, too, is intermittent.

The retract clutch did indeed resolve this issue on the 7132. Thanks to all who responded to my help request.
