Which are the easiest to service copiers? Xerox of Fuji Xerox?

I'm looking to get some opinions from technicians working on Xerox machines to tell me which models are the easiest/quickest to service. We will be ordering a large number of copiers and downtime due to servicing and maintenance will become important as the units get older.

Is it worth getting Fuji Xerox instead of Xerox or do they both have good and bad units? So far I've managed to find out that the 7400 and 7500 series use Fuji Xerox technology. I'm also looking for fast mono machines as well.

    Any advice is appreciated.

      Xerox series WC5632-WC5687 (32-87 copies/min)

These are very good units, and easy to maintain.

70+ ipm, office grade. I don't expect any of the units to produce more than 4 million copies.

Thank you. Would you know what is the difference between the 56xx and say the 77xx or 75xx? Also, the 56xx seem a bit old. Are they still in production?

I've just realized that the WC5632-WC5687 are mono printer/copiers. The 75 and even the 90 ipm units look interesting.

the 56xxx 57xxx xerox models are easy and the 74xx 75xx fuji are easy they have a cage at the back which swings open so you can access the motors much better design than the 7235 7345 3545 3535 etc. The 7242 are also easy to service.
The 56xxx have been replaced by the 57xxx and 74xxx by the 75xxx

Thanks! So can I assume that getting the newer models is a safe bet or would it be better to go for the tried and tested? From my limited experience, new models share designs and even parts from their predecessors.

Are there any good reasons (ignoring marketing) to go for the 77xx instead of the 74xx and 75xx? Has anyone had any experience servicing/using the 77xx range and the 75xx and if there are any major differences.

Thanks for all your help guys.

77xx is office descendant of dc242 that mean heavy, realible machine. 75xx look interesting with ultra low melt EA toner but is quite new on the market . despite of similaire data they are different class machines. what you intentnded to do with...?

Heavy office copying. I expect the 75xx to do between 0.5-2 million copies and the bigger units (77xx or 57xx) between 2-4 million until they're decommissioned. I know that the 77xx and the 75xx are totally different beasts. The 75xx is a Fuji Xerox model and uses Hi-Q LED technology made by Nippon electric glass.

I know next to nothing about the 77xx and judging by this thread, it would seem that the 56xx and 57xx are easy/quick to maintain which is important when they've done a few million copies and are in high demand. The 77xx's colour is a definite advantage but can they hold their own in mono copy/print against the 56xx and 57xx?
