    DC 440st Copy problem

Hi friend. I have a problem with the XEROX DC440st.
The copy does not come out perfect!
    Comes out like this:

    I changed this board:

and the problem was gone after 3 months but has come back. After I changed the laser and the problem is still there. What can it be? This error gives both the copy and the print.

Check the fuser roller. If this flat spots then the text will look like this also.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

the fuser roller is new! I changed it last month. However if I change the card in the picture, the problem is resolved. But my question is: why that card is burned so easily? I have 3 other identical machines and that card it was never broken!

The board you changed looks like the HVPS that shouldn't be causing the appearance of irregular characters - xerographics seem ok - no background and solid print. The problem appears to be a drive train issue. Listen for ratteling - pressure roll, main drive motor, CC, clutches, etc. The exit assembly can also cause this - clutches. What is strange is that the problem went away for awhile.

the fuser is new. clutches are new. the Main motor is new. I have everything changed when the defect occurred the first time. Then I changed the HVPS board and everything was resolved. after 3 months the problem has come back. I thought it had broken the laser, but it is not so! The laser is new now!

                  Re: DC 440st Copy problem

hello friends. I have another problem with xerox dc440. For some days it do 2 errors:

                  1) The machine shows the message: failure of the ADF.
                  2) Remove jammed paper from the tray located under the bypass, but the paper has never started neither is jammed!

These two errors are shown as soon as I turn on the machine. The ADF is not resolved. The problem of ghost jammed paper resolves just open and close the tray located under the bypass. But this error is shown every time I am running a copy!

These two errors I've come suddenly. What could have happened?
