    Xerox WorkCentre C2128 - Hard Drive(s)

    Hi,

    I have a WorkCentre C2128 that has been giving me trouble... Recently, an error code (19-511.00) "Image disk is offline" has been popping up and printing is slow, when it prints at all. I assume that a hard drive has failed.

    Can anyone tell me where I might find the drive on this machine, and whether the drive is some special proprietary unit or off the shelf?

      Image HDD is SCSI HDD in controller at the back side of machine.

      Another HDD (IDE) is Network HDD, and if you replace this HDD will need to reload system software with ALTBOOT.

          Thanks. I hope that it is just the scsi drive (heck, it may be that the ribbon cable is not seated).

              ATA HDD with an ATA-to-SCSI PWB, some times not seated well. both replaceable. check the small fan on image board, some time is troublesome.
