        Code 9,005

        The code 9,005 is for the Cyan ink loader

        9,005.49:The cyan ink melt heater is On, but ink is not dripping.


        What will happen is the sticks will get jammed and not contact the heater to melt them. If this fault is declared three times in a row you need to fix the ink loader and then do a ISC Fault Clear in Diagnostics in order for the machine to come up to ready.

          Either an ink stick stuck in the ink loader OR compatible ink sticks being used. Xerox has gotten pretty darn "good" about their sensor flags in the inkloader being different in every model and most generic ink sticks are shaped for use in multiple models causing either the sensor flag to not be actuated in the ink loader or actuated too long.

          If the ink isn't stuck in the ink loader, then a simple ISC reset as stated above will clear it.
