    docuolor 242, connection troubles

    Hello,

    i am encountering some problemes with my machine, it wont connect to the computers or to the netwerk anymore, now someone sugested changing the machines ip, but i cant for the life of me find where i can change it, i dont have allot of knowledge of printer, and google didnt realy got me a result i can work with.

    so if anyone is able to help, i would be greatfull

          Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel.
          Select the [Billing Meter / Print Reports] tab on the Touch Screen.
          Select the [Print Report / List] button.
          Select the [Network Controller Jobs Report] button. The Network Controller Jobs Report button will be displayed.
          Select the [System Settings List] button.
          Press the [Start] button on the Control Panel. The System Settings (Configuration) Report will print.
          Select the [Close] button on the Touch Screen three times to e

          but at step 4 it tells me to press a button that isnt there, it only has jobs

              Sounds like corrupted hard drive for network controller, That's probably why the network tab is not coming up ready. I would reload the ess software.

                hehe, ok and how do i reload that?(100% total noob on xerox machines)

                      The easy way is to call a xerox tech.
                      Another way is someone to provide you a usb flash drive with sistem software and instructions about use it.

                              i have looked around and it seems i am not missing any buttons on the screen, im using a dc242, and i think i just need to find the IP somewhere
