    WCP 2636

    Hi guys, I have a machine with this problem:
    Message appear "Power on Failed", please turn on and turn off, but when I turn on again, the mensage appear again...

    Did this happen over the night?

    Do you have any error code?

    Do you have PWS to connect to that machine?

      Hi, I'm a representative xerox, and I bought this machine with this problem. I didn't know of the defect. I haven't the pws of this machine. Are there a specific family pws?
      When I turn on the machine, the machine boot normally, and the copy display appear, it appear for one second, and this mensage appear:
      Ready to scan. Printin and copy no available.
      The drum cartridge in A4 is not compatible.

      Power on failed.
      Turn the machine off, then on.
      If the problem persist, please call for service.

      I replaced the 4 drum, and the mensage persist.

        Yes there is PWS for 3545 series (C0_01_04.511)

        You can connect to this machine with WCPS Diagnostic Navigator.

        Is it copier or network printer?

            I have the pws for dc3535. Is it the same? And I haven't the service manual.

              I believe you could use WCPS Diagnostic Navigator from dc3535 series to connect to machine and read error code.

              In most cases this is problem with fuser fan. It become dirty and not has no function, and must be replaced. Like I said check your PM

                  sounds like the a4 drum is not correct obviously

                    Most probably there is drum cartridge for 2240 series. It's the same drum, but different chip.
