123/128 10-327 Warm up fault. Any solutions when using a generic heat roll?

We think this fault comes from the generic heat roll being a tad too thick. We tried recoating the oem rolls but the recoater ruined them - can't remove the coating because the rolls are so thin. Would be easier to make new rolls and coat them - that came from two different recoaters. So we are trying to make the thicker rolls work, until a thinner roll comes around. We have put 7k resistors in parallel with the thermistors to fool the machine into thinking it has warmed up sooner - worked for the 50 series. We found a 2vdc drop across the relay - could be part of the cause. We inspected the ps for bad solder joints. We have taken the nvm values from max high to max low. Once we got this fault as soon as we put a resetable toner chip in - maybe coincidence but one has to wonder. Some of the thermistors are wearing out - the teflon coating wears off. Is it the generic toner we are using? - piles up under the center thermistor sometimes. The key there is sometimes. We think we have the latest level of firmware - not sure what is is now.
Sounds like the answer is to use oem stuff and put in two new relays in parallel. Mr. Keyboard - Parts drop has the stripper fingers.

As stated before, when you posted your pitch for this manual, it's useless in this situation.

        10-327

We are now starting to see this fault within our fleet of Xerox 123 copiers. As yet I do not know of a fix however we have on a couple of occassions got the customer to access diagnostics to reset the fault and get them running. This buys us time. The procedure is

        To clear 010-327 code .

        On screen select-
        System Settings> Common Settings> Maintenance/Diagnostics> NVM Read/Write >

The value may be 1,2 or 3.

Close & exit out of all screens.

When others have seen the problem 10-327 can you tell me does the fault come on at warm-up after switch off (maybe overnight) - whilst in standby or whilst the machine is running ?
