You did not provide enough information about what version of controller to answer the question properly. What version controller are we talking about? Did you get your answer? If not, please respond.

          xerox 510

Hi, The problem is not solved yet and is: the machine gives you "ready to print", you can see everything on the WEB interface, you can do internal print test, BUT you can't print anything from the PC. It seem that it has communication only in one direction....

          Any Ideas!

          Thanks

Not being able to print to the machine would indicate a network set-up or print driver problem. Go into the WebPMT, to configuration, and then Upload a File. Browse to a TIF image, and select Upload. If the print works, then there is a problem on your work center driver setup.

in print driver properties change raw port number to 2000 or lpr queue name to RAW.

I even can't print anything from WEB interface (when you get access to the machine by typing the IP address )- test print, full test or whatever you want... NOTHING. the problem is somewhere in the machine because i did test with another controller - the same story...

It would have helped to mention having tried the other controller from the beginning.

You are correct then, the problem has to be in the printer. Sounds like you are looking at the main board. Can you print an internal test pattern going through diagnostics?

You certainly have a weird one there! It must be a problem in the main board. If you need the part, let me know we can help you on price for the board. One thing you will need to look at is what Tag level the printer has installed. Inside the right door, you will see the toner waste bottle. To the left of the waste bottle, there is a label attached to the frame. This label has many numbers on it, some of which will be marked off. Look to see if #25 has been blacked out. That will determine which version board you need.
