[Electrical] WorkCentre 7665 "Replace Corotron" message

    Hi

Can anyone help to clear message "Replace Corotron" in WorkCentre 7665, i tried several corotrons, new black drum. I reseted CRU in WCPP Diagnostics (former was 5 % and its also now), after reseting to 100% when machine booted up the problem came back... Original corotroh (which was in machine) has CHIP!!! Other ones (even supplied with new drum) don't have chip. Numbers of all corotrons are the same - 13R630

    Thanks for any help

Did you try to reset NVM IOT/Finisher - 1881 (Chain link 751-449) to 0 ?

You can use a 60 mA fuse for reset
Upgrade firmware level of copier so when you put in a new drum make reset even at scorotron.

PS. By the way what is the highest level of SW for this machine??

The current highest is 040.033.53230, released on June 10th, 2011. (For the 033 series, anyway. I have no idea about the older 032 series.)

(If you're still at .032, I'd suggest updating.)

            I've had WC HFSIs take a l - o - n - g time to reset. Really. Especially, fusers.
            Others reset right away. Weird.
Looks like you have a fix though.
