Re: Xerox Phaser 7400 constantly 'Warming up' message

      Just an update:

I reset NVRAM, switched off and on etc, removed consumables, turned on and installed one at a time and eventually came to ready.

I could print the internal test pages fine as long as no paper was in the MPT.

Print jobs would print fine as long as no paper was in the MPT.

When paper is in the MPT, regardless if you are printing from the cassette, the 'warming up' message comes on and remains on even if you switch the machine off/on after a print job.

The 'warming up' message comes on after the first print job unless paper is removed from the MPT tray! Weird I know!

The 'warming up' message would not come on unless paper was in the MPT tray. . . . .

The customer can use the MPT but has to remember to remove the paper in order to continue to print from the cassette.

I uploaded the firmware but realised this was the same release as the current firmware.

      I'm stuck on this one!!

I look forward to any help!

      Many thanks
