X560C Scan Reports

Hi all,

X560C-Integrated Fiery, using network scanning. Prints an error report when a scan fails. Sounds reasonable...

Scan fail is not the problem... That it prints a report with a preview pane is. Security issue for the customer.

Ideally, we'd like to print a report on failure, but without a preview pane. Haven't found the Preview toggle, so we'll settle for Off.

In Admin Mode (Tools > Common Svc Setting > Reports), I have a choice of On/Off/Print When Delivery Fails for the Scan File Transfer Report option.

Interestingly, Scan File Transfer Report is turned off and a report is still generated on scan fail (simulating network connect fail by unplugging ethernet).

Either there is a SW glitch, or I have the wrong setting entirely.

Not sure in XC560, but other Xerox model have that setting your looking for in the template setup.

Scan template setup in the web IU on the print engine side.
