    Document sorting on xerox DocCentre III C2200

    Hi, Could you tell me how to use document sorting function on Xeorx DocuCentre III C2200.
    As we don't have finisher on this machine. we want to use build-in sorting function. Is it workable and how to operate it, because there has no such key for sortiing on the display. I know it has no cross sort but it can be moved up & down.up and down. how to ceate a key by using customer button. Thanks & Best Regards

      I believe you are referring to the COLLATE function and STORED PROGRAMMING. Both of which are found in the user's manual.

          Hi TechMate, thanks for your reply, yes I need collate function but I found no hard disk inside the machine, only has a hard disk mount and without ide interface cable. I want to order the related ide interface cable. could you help me.

              Google search or you can find a copy of the user's manual on the xerox website. The IDE interface cable is available from xerox or an authorised dealer as this is not a normal IDE cable. As for the special features of the machine (ie. stored programming, scanning, etc.) you might need a SOFTWARE KEY to activate the function.

                  I have this hard disk power cable, could I only install the SATA hard disk can activate the collate function if we don't need store and scan document function.Do I need to format the hard disk by using the machine service code.

                      you need software key that is unique for this model .
