WC 7665 wont print or copy

The machine shows a system fault tray five bypass would this keep the machine from printing.? The machine just holds jobs and the status is waiting to print and nothing happens print or copy could there be a main board problem here or does this point back to the tray fault. Any help appreciated thank you

Have you attempted to crossover and print directly?
All trays plain paper?

There isnt a code it says that its the fifth tray (bypass) i havent tried a crossover i reset the system software abd the fiery . It wont even spit out a copy in job status it just stays waiting to print

Altboot comes to mind, if a bit heavy-handed right off... What's the SW level?

Might start with cleaning MCU-to-IOT ribbons.

Alt boot would be the last option,in this series of machines there is a way to check the fault code.its not direct on the screen like the dc250.once you get the code then it will be easier and much safe to contunue helping you out.mean while if you say that its some thing to do with try5.its also much safe to look for another try5 froma working machine then try it out.

You need service manual, PWS and disgnostic software - a lot of money. Call a tech !

Um... Roger that. Takes gear, SW & then you gotta know how to do it.

But. Maich is probably right. Altboot is probably not necessary for a teeny liddle fault.

if you can get someone with pws then you can easily know the error code and what to adjust or replace.i have one but im far(nairobi kenya)thank you alot for your compliments.i have watched quaks open up machines,boards and complicating issues coz of simple error codes.never be in a hurry as long as you are using xerox machines.
