    Memory for Fiery EXP5000

    Can I add memory to Fiery EXP5000?

    It shipped with 256 MB. I added 512MB. On booting computer reads it correctly (768 MB), but after Windows start it still read and display 256 MB.
    I did run Memtest and memory is working. Is there any place i should manually change the amount of Memory?

      Can't say for sure about the 5000s, but the funky little Windows Fiery for the WC7345 had a similar issue. Remote in to the OS and the memory is there (we always upgraded to a gig), but config page showed 512 (what they shipped with).

      Supposedly there was a patch to fix this. Can't remember now if it actually did -- that WC/Fiery combo turned out to be so problematic, we've yanked nearly all of them now. Aside from that, we just kind of rolled with it.

      Might be a patch fix. GSN? As for the Fiery actually functioning with the expaned memory, I just can't imagine it being a problem. Should be able to load up at least a gig without an issue.
