In this case, I was able to use the DC133 and DC105 under Instal/Config on the diagnostic navigator to get the machine to initialize and even print. But as soon as you put the machine off, it reverts back and loses all the data with the CCM reset fault, 03-338 resurfacing. The manual says its the watchdog timer that is reseting the CCM. Is it possible to just disable this watchdog timer? Or how can the CCM reseting at each power on be halted?

The battery that is plugged into the ccm is bad. It is the yellow box. Get the number off the top of it and go to Digikey.com and you should be able to find a replacement for it for around 20 dollars. You can slowly pry it off with a flat blade screwdriver, it just snaps on.

I'm in Nigeria. I thought as much too and tried three different batteries from some junked machines...same outcome in all cases. Maybe all batteries are bad. I'll source for a new one like you advised, thanks.DgtalComment

measure the voltage at two pins with a nose between them if it is more than 2.5v. the
lithium battery is ok and it should work.Comment
