    5818 U2-2 code

    Anyone have any info on the U2-2 error code for the 5818? I've found that it is scanner related but I'm not sure what the 2 sub code means. Thanks

      Scan Home Sensor or the Scan Drive Motor encoder fault



      check the flag (on the carriage) and the encoder sensor. If you need to replace the motor replace pwb also.
      And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
