    Xerox 425DC

I have a 425 that is kicking my ass. When I got to site the exit rollers were all gummy sticky. So, I thought this was an easy fix. Just replace the rollers. Well , xerox does not list the exit roller for this machine. So, I finally got Parts Drop to send me some rollers that are very close. So I put them on and run a few copies in duplex mode and it starts jamming. So I keep fiddling with it and after its good and hot it won't even draw the paper back in to duplex. What gives? Any ideas?

First thing that comes to mind is it's very ingenious and resourceful to find rollers that closely fit, but, those same rollers may be the cause of your new problems. Closely fitting isn't the same as the right fit. In the world of copiers, sometimes close tolerances are observed and you would think this may work because it looks good, but there have been many scenarios I've been through where it looks good, but it's not. It sounds like you guys may have to find a junker and do a little cannibalization.
