DocuColor 12 error after installing new parts

Greetings, Copytechnet community.

Hopefully I can give helpful hands as well, but I am new to this industry. I work preflight and I have a DocuColor 12 sitting in my office I am supposed to maintain.

After some problems, and trouble shooting I needed to put in new parts. an IBT Belt, a new Copy/Print drum, and a 2nd BTR Roller.

After I installed those prints came out better but seemed to be off, but I was at the end of my shift so I left.

This morning all it does now is feed me this error.

1. Turn power off. The switch is on the right side of Copier/Printer.
2.Pause, turn power back on.

I'm trying to find this in my documentation I have provided here.. but I don't know much bout this machine. Is anyone willing to help, please? I can try to provide further information if needed.

9-342.... I did just install a 2nd BTR roller... no grinding though.... maybe a squeak sound would be the same?

That wheel on the roller with that yellow mark... should that yellow be shown through the hole on the front of the tray? (tray - where the handle is to pull the guts out)

The Control Logic has detected that the 2nd BTR failed to contact the IBT.

that isnt abig problem,kindly remove and takeback the 2nd ibt assembly.also make sure that its rotating freely and that the 2nd btr sensor is well seated

I'll try this and report back, I'll make sure everything in the assembly is functional as well again, thanks for that.

Like maich4s suggested first check sensor if it poped up, you could also clean it.

Also check Main Motor (dC330 - 004-007) is it working normal.

In couple cases with intermittent 9-342 and 9-343 it was defective Front Door Interlock

Like maich4s suggested first check sensor if it poped up, you could also clean it.

Also check Main Motor (dC330 - 004-007) is it working normal.

In couple cases with intermittent 9-342 and 9-343 it was defective Front Door Interlock

The front door does close tricky..... its something to do with the casing.. could that b it and finally years later give this code?

I'll try this and report back, I'll make sure everything in the assembly is functional as well again, thanks for that.

Just finished this, still experiencing the same.

However in searching for it I did find this which is nice and handy for the future

Cheat front door interlock and check does your 2nd btr roll go up and down when power on machine.

If roll go up and down then your problem is sensor.
Remove 2nd btr assembly and check sensor and clean it.

If cleaning does not resolve your problem then you can remove paper feed assembly (any) and remove one sensor from it and replace 2nd btr sensor with it.

I reassembled the BTR assembly and it started working fine. Other than now that toner leak issue I posted/registration..

This thing is definitely giving me a work out.
