Randomly, every 3~10 copies on a multi-run, a jam occurs at the registration. The paper is not damaged. The image on the last copy that exits is about 3 inches late, meaning there is 3 inches of blank space on the leading edge before the printing begins, causing last 3 inches of printing to be missing, off the page. In other words, the paper was fed too soon. I cleaned the registration clutch, but did not change the symptom. After that I found out that it doesn't occur when using the bypass! Ran a 20-page job no problem.
Another symptom, possibly related, the bypass seems to feed the paper too long. It feeds without a problem, gets fed to the registration rollers, paper stops moving, but the feed roller makes one or two extra revolutions. Happens pretty much every sheet. Sometimes there's a paper buckling sound, but no effect on the prints. Machine has very low mileage. Any ideas? Thank You.
