Xerox wc7132 asks for magenta but was installed already

Customer says 7132 called for toner and customer changed but still asks for toner. If customer installed during warning period and did not wait til does machine recognize new toner. Going there tomorrow. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

Replace the magenta developer tanks and reinitialise IOT NVM cures this for me.

Thanks Tech9. I purchased the sm online and should have the download site in my emails as I just got back but wanted to respond to you and anyone else who is helping me. Is it necessary to initialize or would just changing dv unit be enough? Frank

Re: Xerox wc7132 asks for magenta but was installed already

Can this machine be set up to print/copy in black only and by doing so bypass the need to replace magenta temporarily ? Or is it absolutely necessary to replace empty color cartridge for machine to copy or print in black.?
Also someone mentioned that there is both metered toner and sold toner and that once machine is set up for one it will not accept the other and how are they distinguished on box? Frank
