Xerox workstation pe220 blank copies

hi i have a xerox workstation pe 220, it initially diplayed scanner locked. in got the exposer lamp moving again, and the message is cleared on the screen but now i get blank copies. Is the exposer lamp supose to be going blue and red? printing is fine. Any help...?
