i have a docucolor 12 copier printer with fiery xp12, i want to convert my fiery to a pc, because i dont need a color server like fiery, i want to install coreldraw 11 to the fiery and make a file using coreldraw and want to print it directly, i assembled a new pc and remove only the fiery card and install it to my new machine, but after windows xp installed i see in the device manager that two other devices installed in my pc, that called "multimedia controller". so i have a question, if the fiery card installed on fiery xp12 running on windows NT, it must be any device driver loaded in the fiery, i search on internet and xerox and efi.com site, but no one can help me to give the device driver of the fiery card, i see in the LANgrafix | Home site, they build a new fiery xp12 running windows xp, if they can, why i am not? if anyone who knows it and who experiment it previously please give me some feedback.

Re: Driver needed
As above...
Fierys are purpose built machines to deal with print data and not just a standard PC you can buy off the shelf or build. The oprating system on them as well isn't just a normal version of Windows NT or Windows XP as they are the Embedded versions which aslo come with Fiery proprietary software in the restore image.
Put everything back to how is was or you will won't have your print functionality at all. Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.Comment
