    Xerox DC 12

    I bought DC12 with Cobra RIP
    Problems:
    1: I can't change any settings in RIP over browser and CentreWare Internet Service interface..because is locked and i don't have password, no whay to get it! Only whay is to reinstall cobra RIP with its software..so where can i find that sotware? Cobra RIP is described as DCCS 50 (Document Centre ColorSeries 50)
    2: Can i buy and connect X12 RIP or some Splash RIP on DC12 without problem or any firmware upgrades?
    3: How to change interface language on DC12 screen.. it's on german..i want ENG
    4: I would like to have Service manual for DC12..
    I'm new with Xerox machines..

    maybe i asking too much..but who will help me if you don't!

              Try to find out IP adress of Cobra. It could be done from user interface on machine. Goto Tools (11111) password. If it is on german it is a button on 3rd line left. Now you can change ip adress. From browser (IE, Firefox...) enter that ip (computer network should be on same ip range) and it should be Cobra web site. There you can change language, but only for Cobra. Administrator user name and pass are: Admin 11111 (case sensitive).
              For DC12 language you need PWS laptop with IOT software. It could be reprogramed using RS232 and LPT.

                      Cobra Rip doesn't use Command work station. Only Efi rips use that software.

                                  To service and reprogram these machines you need, besides xerox traininig, the xerox PWS laptop + a licenced system which xerox doesn't send to everybody out there free, those things are top-dollar resources available to authorized service centers only,

                                  Stop asking for free stuff, if you're a real copier-service repairman be prepared to spend money in your business !
