    My DC3535 keeps toning up

    Hi,

My DC3535 keeps toning up (overtoning) by itself, particularly CMY, so that every few hundred prints I have to run max setup (dc922) to stabilise the toning. Any clues what might be causing this?

Did you enter ATC code from ATC sensor in dc 921?

I haven't but I will do that as we have been changing developer housings. Was hoping not to have to dig down to the dev tanks.

I've done that now, it still progressively tones up, particularly Magenta

          Do you use OEM toners?

I do though I do regularly switch between EA and EA-HG toners but this hasn't been a problem in the past. This started happening when we replaced some dev tanks.

But it looks like the problem is solved. In Searchlite there are several posts that mention that the procedure described in the edoc for entering the ATC sensor codes is wrong and when we followed the procedure suggested in Searchlite it does seem to work. So I hope that's the end of this story

Actually the problem is still present and I continually have to tone down in max setup, now it's mostly prevalent in cyan.

I still have the above problem, I can print maybe 100 sheets then get a cyan background that starts faintly and gets heavier and heavier until I run a max setup and tone down the cyan (using dc922). When I run the routine it doesn't necessarily tell me that cyan needs to be toned down so I have to enter that manually and run it a couple of times. It works but having to do this so often is badly affecting my toner usage and is obviously not the way it should be.

I've changed all the dev tanks now with good used ones from a Phaser 7750. I am using the same developer material that came with the 7750 dev tanks, could that be a problem?

I've entered all the ATC codes via the PWS and using the modified method described in Searchlite but I'm still getting the same issue.

                Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
