How do I swap out or connect to an internal bustled rip on Xerox 4110 to an external Fiery EXP4110?

Yes I have the cable & a crossover cable

The housing on the cable is different than the current housing on the controller. The current connector on the back of the controller has pins where the screws would secure the cable. Are the housings exchangeable?
