    [Error Code] Docucolor 3535

    Hello

I work on Canon machines, I have been asked to take a look at this machine.

It powers up ok, but will not copy, it is greyed out, it will scan though, that is not greyed out.

    After pressing a few obvious system menus I managed to get the following error code displayed;

    016-380

Looking at the machine it really does need a very good clean and service.

I dont have any reference material for this, could someone give me an idea what this refers too

How to get into the diagnostic / service mode would really be great as well

From a Canon guy to Xerox Guys Many Thanks for your help

Disconnect the two DDI cables that come from controller situated lower back of machine.
Power on copier and see the result.
This code error means the controller dont communicate with electronic board from machine but there may be another error.
The diagnose for this copier is a software tools which must installed on a laptop and run from there.
Also you need the service manual to do the service proper procedures.

        Re: Docucolor 3535

I went onto the admin page of the controller.

The error was pointing to a faulty fuser.

I replaced it gave it a clean and off it went.

The registration is off, can anyone advise best practise to bring it into alignment?

        Many Thanks
