XEROX 7665 firewire communication error

Hello
Here is a problem if you can help!!!!

The software loads with the yellow square going right to left ' the square turn red then green and stationary for 2 minutes and then i get the " Firewire communication with the copy controler occurred ". Anyone can help on this matter?

What version of firmware do you have on machine:
40.032.xxxxx or 40.033.xxxxx ?
Can you see an code error ?

I cant see code error. My firmware version 040.033.52800

If you have scanning options then remove the scan cable between net controller and CCM and see if error message is changed. Also you can remove scan board from inside of net controller.

Thanks for your help. I tried to remove the scanner cable, but error message is the same

Means the controller boots completely but does not sync with the rest of machine. Pull the fire wire cards on both ends of cable, clean contacts and put back in and reboot. Could have a bad firewire cable or firewire card.
