Xerox Workcentre 4150 enabler. What is this?

    Hey guys,

I've been noticing on the sides of the Workcentre 4150 and 4250 that there is a white key with a chip on it and a big X on the end of it. What is the used for?

It looks like it slides into an orange port that is on the side of the machine.

Stupid question I know, but I'm curious to what it is and what it does.
    Thanks.

It is a slot that is used at installion. a card comes with the machine and during set up you slide it in and remove it, very much like our other machines where you use a code to enable the machine.
