Xerox 510 wide format plotter with L2 code and no manuals

I got a call from a new customer. They have this Xerox 510 wide format plotter with an L2 code.
They say it use to make a few prints every now and again if they let it sit turned off for about
10 hours. Now it comes on and sits there and eventually codes out.

What does the L2 code mean?

How much trouble is it going to be to fix it?

Anyone got the manuals?

I am re-posting this in the Xerox forum.
I got a look at this machine the other day.
The real code is LL-25. The print feels grainy.
There is a small amount of developer material in
the paper path.
