8825 DDS color

Hi I have the xerox 8825DDS with the 7346 and want to know if it is capable of doing color scanning to pc with color feature key. I can't get confirmation from xerox. On this web page brochure is states it does. But does not specify which scanner model is with it. http://www.xerox.com/downloads/usa/e...s_Brochure.pdf Thanks.

7346 scanner only can scan B&W.
You need synergix scanner for color scanning

The 8825 is synergix. stamped on the machine. What model of scanner would be color.

Synergix is the name of scanner and is different from X7346 / 7356.
And for the whole group - scanner, controller, printer - the name is synergix system in place of DDS system

Very complicated affair.
The brochure that you have provided written that Color Scan-To-Net is Options.
In presenting the 8825DDS, 7356 is set for user interface.
I found no information on this Color Scan-To-Net kit.
I do not know whether it is just enablement code or are there hardware and enablement code.
